I am a Certified Educator of Infant Massage (CEIM) and a trainer with Infant Massage USA® and the International Association of Infant Massage Headquartered in Sweden.

After reading an article in the Washington Post about the work of Infant Massage, I took the training and became a CEIM in 1999. After working with hundreds of families in the Washington DC area, I realized the need for more CEIMs to help reach families in the greater DC area. I then decided to do the extensive training necessary to become an trainer with the International Association of Infant Massage. I  became Certified International Trainer in 2002.

As a Trainer I have traveled from London to Korea and across the United States providing certification trainings to thousands of students.

My passion is to promote the benefits of Infant Massage and have presented workshops at local, state and national conferences to include the Birth to Three, Early Head Start Conferences, the National Training Institute for Zero to Three, Parents as Teachers, Child Life, and Prevent Child Abuse America.  I have written articles for the Prevent Child Abuse, Scoop, the Zero to Three Journal, and other national professional journals and magazines.

In 2005, Infant Massage USA®  was formed as the US Chapter to the International Association with headquarters in Sweden and I became the first Executive Director. I remained the Executive Director until July 2013. I remain on the Board and passionate in promoting the benefits of Infant Massage.

Most recently I have collaborative written the new Sensational Baby materials to  provide added support to CEIMs across the United States.
